High-mountain Taiwanese Jin Xuan Oolong (Cultivar No. 12) from the Alishan region. Grown at elevations above 1,000 meters, the tea leaves mature slowly due to frequent fog and temperature drops. This slow growth builds up amino acids and essential oils, minimizing bitterness and yielding a smooth infusion.
The hallmark of this tea is its Natural Milk Aroma. Its subtle creamy and caramel notes stem entirely from the specific cultivar and high-mountain terroir, made without any added flavorings. In the cup, light milky character balances with nuances of fresh white flowers and meadow herbs. The tea brews clean and full-bodied, with a natural sweetness and a crisp, lingering finish.
The light-fermentation, tightly rolled leaves expand best when brewed using short steeps (gongfu style at 85–90°C / 185–194°F). It reliably holds up for 7 to 9 re-steeps, shifting subtly from creamy notes toward fresher floral layers.
